Mr. Dion resigned this morning.
He will stay on as leader until another leader is chosen. He wants to ensure that the next leader does not suffer from the Conservative propaganda as he did. He wants to ensure that he champions liberal philosophy in Parliament.
Once again, continuing to show leadership. He also launched a solid attack on Harper.
Mr. Dion also made some very good comments on the need for organizational and funraising renewal. Ensuring the new leader is not vulnerable to "the same kind of politics" is going to be a key item he handles...
